Babu Rotiken is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Subordinate Court thereto, and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East Africa Law Society. He is a Law graduate from Mzumbe University, Tanzania and was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania in October 2023.

With a firm foundation and expertise in land, environmental and conservation law, Babu is passionate about using his education and legal research skills—together with his penchant for critical thinking and strong attention to accuracy and detail—to explore every intersection and angle of the law in the pursuit of inclusive conservation and sustainable development.
