October 2020 to September 2021
The aim of this project was to honour and revitalize indigenous conservation of Maasai giraffe in the eastern Serengeti ecosystem. This served the interest of local communities by acknowledging and encouraging their involvement in the conservation and monitoring of giraffe linked with livestock grazing strategies outside protected areas.
This project is funded by the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.
